ABSTRACT
As I write this book, there’s a raging debate about gay marriage in the United States. The debate raises two important factors that have been, are, and will continue to be, part of the debate about both gay marriage and marriage in general (this is why gay marriage is the focus of Chapter 10): the sex or gender and the number of the participants in marriage.
